As someone who grew up in the Stowe area, I have experienced all that Stowe has to offer. Be it learning to ski at the Tollhouse (long before Spruce Peak), being part of the Stowe Ski School as a level III Ski Instructor or coaching ski racing for MMSC, Mount Mansfield and skiing will always be a part of my life. As much as I loved working in the ski industry, shortly after college I followed my interest towards the Hospitality Industry. I have now been in Hospitality for over 25 years, with emphasis in Event Design along with Food & Beverage Management. Over the years I have had opportunities to live and work in Newport Rhode Island, Vail Colorado and the Tahoe region, but always knew home was here in Stowe. When my husband and I got married we knew we wanted to raise our kids in Stowe and focused our careers with that in mind. I have been very fortunate to work at some of Stowe’s most iconic properties, and now am thrilled to be a part of this organization. In 2018 I met Steph and was introduced to Stowe Mountain Rentals. I loved her enthusiasm and the pride she felt for her business. I came on board with SMR as a Rentals Manager and learned all aspects of the business. This was a new side of Hospitality that I had never worked in and was excited for a new learning opportunity and a change from the F&B side of the hospitality world. Today I oversee all operations of Stowe Mountain Rentals along with Steph. We work together to support our amazing team of Housekeepers, Rental Managers and of course Our owners & Guests. We all love Stowe and look forward to sharing our amazing mountainside retreat with you.

"I am a transplant from a small central/southern Vermont town, West Rutland. I moved to the Stowe area in 2015 to pursue a bachelor's degree in Business Management with a focus in Hospitality Tourism, from the then Johnson State College. During my 4 years at Johnson I fully immersed myself within the industry of Stowe. I started my career at the resort in 2016 as a front desk agent at the Inn at The Mountain. This was very short lived as after my first season Vail purchased the resort and I was quickly out of work. I soon found myself working Banquets for The Lodge at Spruce Peak. I spent 2 and 1/2 years in the department while also helping the resort's high end coffee shop, The Beanery, operate on a day to day basis. I found myself growing tired of the long nights and hours and knew it was time for a change. The summer of 2018 I left the resort and spent the summer as the assistant food and beverage director of the Country Club of Vermont. Winter approached quickly and I found myself out of work yet again. I started at Piecasso in Stowe winter of 2018. I spent 2 years supervising the pizza counter and as the lead dough maker… I spent just shy of 6 years in the F&B industry of Stowe. I was more than ready for a change of pace. I had learned the ins and outs of the industry but was still craving something new. I was fortunate enough to have found Stowe Mountain Rentals. Currently I work as one the property managers alongside Steph and Kim. I have lived and worked in the area for a total of 7 years and know all there is to know. I enjoy crafting guest experiences to make the stay one to remember! Whether that be helping make dinner reservations, pre-arrival grocery shopping, booking activities off resort property, or sharing knowledge of the local area. Off the clock I enjoy hiking on the many trails here in Lamoille county, Kayaking on the numerous lakes and reservoirs, and of course skiing and snowboarding. I am here to help make your stay memorable and help you find your true home away from home!"

Stowe has been my home for the last 25+ years before finding Stowe Mountain Rentals I owned, ran and taught the Bikram Yoga studio in town for 8 + years until selling it. I wanted a change and started Stowe Mountain Rentals with the goal to rent my own units at the then “Stowe Mountain Lodge” I wanted to give people an affordable way to enjoy our Mountain and beautiful town of Stowe. What I didn’t know at the time was this was to grow to 45 units over the course of the next few years and continue to grow every year thereafter. I couldn’t have asked for a better job it certainly keeps me busy. When I am not working, I love to snowboard, travel, spend time with my kids and my better half Andrew.
